What's My Motivation?
You will look better.
It's true. We were made to move. Not only will physical activity help to keep you fit but it will also help you maintain a healthy weight.
You will feel better.
Both inside and out! Physical activity helps build and maintain healthy bones, muscles, and joints. Plus, it's a great way to relieve stress and increase your self-esteem.
You will have a lot more energy.
Don't just "pack it away." Physical activity helps your body work more efficiently and increase endorphins to give you that natural burst of energy.
You will have more fun.
When you participate in physical activities, you can meet people, do the things you enjoy, while being secure in the knowledge that you are doing something good for yourself.

Quote of the Day
"Every once in a while I feel stressed out so I will go for a jog down the beach. Physical activity not only keeps you fit, it might take your mind off something or it might release some anger."
-- Allen, Del Norte H.S., del norte

Ask the Experts
DEAR EXPERT:
"Not that this is MY problem, but can you do too much exercise? A girl I know works out really hard everyday, but she doesn't seem to be tired."
-- M.H.

Work-Out Tip
Candy...not a good idea. It may offer some quick fuel to the body, but can ultimately cause a rapid drop in blood sugar level soon afterwards which will leave you feeling tired and weak.
AND...remember to drink enough water. How much? Find out Click here
